2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When accessed, the infrastructure may process technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested file, data volume, referrer, browser, operating system and access status. This is necessary to provide the website securely, detect faults and prevent misuse.
The legal basis is the legitimate interest in secure and reliable website operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
3. Email contact
If you contact Northpath Software by email, the information provided is processed to answer your enquiry and handle support. Depending on the request, processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
4. Software downloads and download count
WebImageCollector is available without an account, newsletter registration or payment. When the download link is used, a simple counter is increased by one before the installer is delivered. The counter stores only the total number of downloads. It does not store IP addresses, browser identifiers or individual download histories and is not used to create user profiles.
5. Cookies and analytics
The public website does not use analytics, advertising, tracking technologies or non-essential cookies. The operator-only statistics page uses a technically necessary session cookie after login; it is not used for visitor tracking.
6. Recipients and transfers
Technical data may be processed by providers engaged for secure website and email operation. Northpath Software does not sell personal data. No transfer outside the EU/EEA is intended for the present website.
7. Your rights
Subject to legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Contact support@northpath-software.com.
8. Right to complain
You may complain to a competent data protection authority. The Swedish authority is Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), www.imy.se. Consumers in Germany may also contact their locally competent authority.
9. Changes
This policy will be updated when the website, download process or service providers change.
